13th May 2022

The Thames Estuary Growth Board will be showcasing the UK’s number one government-backed growth opportunity at UKREiiF, the country’s biggest real estate and infrastructure conference taking place in Leeds from 17 to 19 May.

Led by, Kate Willard OBE, Estuary Envoy and Chair of the Thames Estuary Growth Board, a first-class team of private and public sector Board Members and Executive Directors will champion the region and its myriad opportunities at the conference.

During this three day event, the Growth Board team will engage actively with investors, developers and partners to promote the region’s investment opportunities in order to unlock good, green growth that benefits people and businesses of the Estuary and the national economy.

The team will also continue to build pan-regional and partnerships to help accelerate and build innovation and share best practice.

Kate Willard, who recently received her OBE for services to transport and infrastructure, said “We are really excited to be at UKREiiF. As the UK’s biggest built environment event, it’s only natural that the Thames Estuary, the UK’s biggest growth opportunity, is showcased here.

We are looking forward to conversations with other like-minded teams who are focussed on getting great stuff done. We have a portfolio of compelling investment opportunities to share including the Thames Estuary hydrogen ecosystem, waterborne freight on the Thames and other key infrastructure projects.

We’re in a good place for investing. Join us.”
