As part of our inward investment strategy we are looking to commission world-class specialists to develop tools that will support our marketing nationally and abroad.
We are seeking creative suppliers for two commissions that will market the potential of the Thames Estuary and bring our transformative vision for this place to life.
The first opportunity is to develop an interactive map highlighting potential areas for development and investment, including land, workspaces, offices and opportunity areas.
The second is to write and produce explainer and virtual reality films which paint a picture of the Thames Estuary in 2050.
The potential of the Thames Estuary is enormous. We want to promote it here and internationally as the UK’s best growth opportunity because that’s exactly what it is!
With the environment at the front-and-centre of our plans, we are ambitious about supporting growth in the Thames Estuary and accelerating investment in the right areas for the benefit of residents, workers and visitors; this is key to our action plan, The Green Blue, launched in July last year.
We are committed to driving growth; creating jobs, improving productivity and to do this we need to ensure that the right investment is in place. We’re going to make this happen. We’re in a good place.

Interactive Map Tender
The interactive map will be a searchable visualisation of the opportunities available for businesses looking to relocate, or developers looking to invest. It will feature information needed to make these decisions including details and location of land, workplaces, sites with planning permission and empty offices for businesses.

Explainer Film and Virtual Reality Film Tender
The intention of the explainer film is to tell investors, developers, businesses and local communities a story about the Thames Estuary we are building, encouraging them to be part of the journey, to ‘Join us now and be part of the amazing future we are creating’.
Separately, we would like to commission an exciting virtual reality version of this future-looking film to give people a more intimate and immersive experience and view of the Thames Estuary to come.
